Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role

Customer Support has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of desktop technologies across both on-premises and cloud platforms maintaining and developing the Enabling Services platforms to enable our agencies to meet their strategic priorities.

As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will have strong technical expertise across Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, automation, and modern workplace solutions, with experience in identity and access management.

There are also opportunities to extend into other areas important to Enabling Services, such as disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security.

To be considered for this role you should have good technical, communication and interpersonal skills, with your experience ideally supported by relevant industry certifications

  • Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).Experience with Microsoft 365 services
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, and identity management.
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment technologies
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot and modern device management.

  • A strong technical aptitude and demonstrated skill in performing technical problem determination and analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A computer science or ICT related university degree or equivalent industry qualifications or experience
