About the role

This is a varied, hands-on role delivering Council’s enforcement functions, across:

  • Bylaw breaches and complaint investigations
  • District Plan Rule breaches and complaint investigations
  • Resource consent monitoring and compliance
  • Parking enforcement and managing road corridor encroachments

You’ll work across the district, balancing education and relationship building with firm, fair enforcement action where required.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in enforcement, compliance or investigative roles
  • Proven investigation, documentation and report writing skills
  • Strong judgement, communication and conflict management skills
  • A resilient, practical approach and confidence working in the field
