About the role
This is a varied, hands-on role delivering Council’s enforcement functions, across:
- Bylaw breaches and complaint investigations
- District Plan Rule breaches and complaint investigations
- Resource consent monitoring and compliance
- Parking enforcement and managing road corridor encroachments
You’ll work across the district, balancing education and relationship building with firm, fair enforcement action where required.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in enforcement, compliance or investigative roles
- Proven investigation, documentation and report writing skills
- Strong judgement, communication and conflict management skills
- A resilient, practical approach and confidence working in the field
