Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

As one of our Truck Drivers, you'll be out on the road delivering products to our shareholders and customers, as well as supporting in-store with loading and unloading. The role also includes working within the warehouse and providing customer service as required, so you'll be comfortable moving between tasks and environments.

It's a hands-on role where no two days are the same, and you'll play a key part in keeping our rural communities moving.

Mōhou ake | About you

You’ll be a safe, capable and reliable driver who enjoys being out on the road, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • A Full Class 2 licence

  • Current Forklift licence (F endorsement; OSH preferred)

  • Current Dangerous Goods (DG) Endorsement

  • A clean driving record

  • Recent experience operating Class 2 curtainsider vehicles

  • Proven experience loading, securing, transporting and unloading varied load profiles

  • Strong working knowledge of load restraint systems and load security practices

  • A solid understanding of NZ driver worktime rules, fatigue management, and logbook requirements (with recent practical use)

You’ll also bring:

  • Confidence operating in rural and remote environments, including variable weather and road conditions

  • The ability to work safely and independently once trained

  • A practical, hands-on approach to loading and unloading

Bonus if you have:

  • Recent experience transporting dangerous goods, including knowledge of segregation, documentation and emergency response requirements

In addition, you are:

  • Safety-focused and organised

  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle tasks

  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with customers and the team
