About the role
This is an opportunity for an Account Manager to join the team and service the Waikato region. This is a fast-paced, results-focused role with a core focus on driving new business and expanding brand presence across the Auckland market. You will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships across the territory, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that add value to customers.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts – end users, merchants, and other key industry stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory through proactive prospecting and networking
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored product and service solutions to support project requirements
- Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to customers, showcasing features, benefits, and application suitability
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows/expo’s, and networking functions as required
About you
- You have a strong sales background within the building industry with an established network of industry contacts that can be leveraged in your new role
- You have proven sales capability with the ability to identify new business opportunities, grow revenue, and deliver results
- You have the ability to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships based on trust and service excellence
- You are an effective communicator with the ability to engage at all levels across a diverse customer base
