Role Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience specifically in seismic bracing of non-structural building components. You will join their Christchurch office and contribute to a variety of national projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety in seismic-prone areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyse seismic bracing systems for non-structural components in various building projects.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and documentation.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on seismic bracing or commercial buildings related structural designs.
• Proven experience with national projects and a strong understanding of seismic design principles.
• Proficiency in NZ structural analysis software and engineering tools.
