About the role

Due to an internal secondment, we are looking for an Advisor to join our busy and collaborative Leadership Development Programmes team. As an Advisor, you'll play a key role in shaping the capability of Public Service leaders across Aotearoa. Working as part of the Leadership Development Centre (LDC), you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality development programmes that strengthen leadership practice and impact. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of system-wide leadership development, supporting leaders to grow, connect, and lead with purpose while contributing to meaningful outcomes for New Zealanders.

Key responsibilities include

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a confidant and clear communicator, able to engage a range of audiences
  • Manage multiple priorities and contribute effectively across a busy programme of work
  • Work collaboratively with others to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Bring strong digital literacy, including confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders. As a business unit within the Commission, Ara Kaiarahitanga Leadership Development Centre is the primary delivery vehicle for system-wide leadership development. LDC is focused on developing consistent, high quality learning experiences across the public service to build strong leadership capabilities and encourage shared mindsets in our leaders.

Salary

The full salary range for the band is $80,495 to $106,758. We typically look to appoint to role between $80,495 $98,718, depending on skills and experience.
