Facility Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Facility Cleaner to keep our Auckland site buildings and facilities at a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Your work will help create a safe, pleasant environment for all staff while complying with relevant legislation, regulations and best practice.
This is a full‑time, permanent position (Monday – Friday) with core hours and flexible start / finish times within agreed limits to help balance work and personal commitments.
Key responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning tasks to a high standard (office areas, meeting rooms, hallways and passages, toilets, bathrooms, showers, kitchens and kitchenettes, service corridors, workshops, technical spaces, foyers and porches)
Track and restock inventory of cleaning supplies, hygiene items, kitchen provisions, and first‑aid consumables, and ensure that orders to replenish stocks are requested in time to maintain operations
Manage waste, recycling and hazardous‑material handling in line with health & safety guidelines
Identify and report maintenance issues, damage or security concerns to facilities management
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with a range of people
What you bring
Proven cleaning experience in a domestic, commercial or light‑industrial setting
Ability to plan and deliver comprehensive cleaning and hygiene services
Stock management and ordering (cleaning supplies, kitchen provisions etc)
Sound knowledge of health & safety practices, including HAZCHEM handling
Current clean Full NZ Drivers licence
First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must
Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
