About The Role

We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your deep knowledge of chemistry will directly shape how AI reasons through complex problems — making a real impact on the next generation of large language models.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams. No prior AI experience is required — just strong chemistry knowledge and the ability to think and communicate rigorously.

What You'll Do

• Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to rigorously test AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of explanation
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI model performance

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to evaluation
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
• Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
