Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You are responsible for the general work order maintenance work assigned by your superior, or assisting the Engineering department’s maintenance team in completing other maintenance work. As an Maintenance Assistant, you’re not just responsible for ensuring the normal operation of hotel equipment – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Regulatory Compliance: Strictly adhere to staff rules, regulations, and management commands, ensuring careful operation and safe equipment use.
- Operational Management: Ensure the normal operation of the hotel’s power, water, gas, heating, and cooling equipment.
- Record Keeping: Promptly and accurately inspect equipment operation records and shift handover records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Energy Management: Save energy and control energy consumption, implementing measures to enhance efficiency.
- Event Support: Follow up on maintenance works for banquets and meetings, ensuring all related equipment functions well.
- Emergency Preparedness: Regularly test-run the generator to ensure power generation and transmission during power failures.
- Fire Safety Supervision: Supervise and inspect the hotel’s fire preventive works, taking measures to stop any violations.
- Training & Development: Supervise and train technicians and apprentices, developing their skills.
- Tool Management: Manage working tools, registering team members’ names upon usage, and recommend disciplinary actions for subordinates as needed.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications
- Familiar with the operation principle and fault judgment method of large data centre infrastructure (power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, network, etc.).
- Willing to be engaged in the monitoring post for day shift and night shift for a long period, and have enough time to study.
- Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
- Active and motivated in work, with a good sense of service.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
