Our Agri team are well known across Taranaki for forming strong, long‑term relationships with their clients. We work side‑by‑side with farmers and agribusiness owners, getting to know their operations, their families and their goals, so our advice is practical, relevant and trusted.

As our reputation and client base continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager who enjoys building trusted relationships and contributing to something bigger. Our clients see us as strategic partners, not just accountants – we’re there alongside them as they make decisions, plan for the future and grow sustainable, successful businesses.

You’ll Spend Your Time

• Working closely with clients, understanding what really matters to them and their business
• Providing strategic, forward‑looking advice that helps clients feel confident in their decisions
• Collaborating with team members to bounce ideas around, solve problems and share expertise
• Playing a key role in developing the Agri offering and mentoring others in the team

The work itself is varied and interesting, from one‑off projects to long‑term advisory relationships, including:

• Farm profitability and performance analysis
• Financial planning and forward projections
• Succession and future‑proofing conversations
• Governance and strategic support
• Helping clients get the most out of digital tools and farm software
• Supporting diversification and growth opportunities

We work across dairy, sheep & beef, poultry and bloodstock, with client groups ranging from owner‑operators to larger multi‑farm businesses. This gives you the chance to either build depth in a particular area or enjoy being a trusted adviser across a wide mix of clients.

You'll bring

• CA qualification (with 5 years experience post CA)
• A thorough knowledge of the Farming sector and agriculture
• 8 years + working in a CA firm – specifically with Agri clients
• A desire to establish a long term career with us
• A proven ability to find solutions to business and accounting problems
• A passion for supporting our clients to run their business
• Exceptional organisation skills and a self-starting attitude to getting things done
• Experience with software solutions including Xero, Figured, MYOB, Cash Manager Focus
