About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at The Avenues in Tauranga. This role is a permanent, part-time role, working 46.5 hours per Fortnight as follows, so flexibility is essential.
Week 1
- Friday - 2.45pm -11.15pm, Saturday & Sunday – 11pm to 7am
Week 2
- Monday – 11pm to 7am, Friday & Saturday – 2.45pm to 11.15pm
There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing:
- Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
- Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
About you
You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents.
You also have:
- Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
- Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
- InterRai qualified is desirable.
- Up to date knowledge of wound care management
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
