Retail Manager ( GOODS 2 GO VARIETY STORE )
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy retail store environment.

30–45 hours per week depending on seasonal demand
Remuneration
$33 – $35 per hour depending on skills and experience

We are the best-loved departmental stores in the , its professional approach and attention to detail. Our products are various from party product, toys, stationery, art & craft, hair & beauty products, kitchen products, household accessories , garden accessories , gift products, greeting cards, mobile accessories, etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
- Develop and implement sales, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Plan and coordinate seasonal campaigns, product displays, and merchandising activities to optimise customer engagement and sales outcomes.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse business trends, and prepare operational reports to support business decision-making.
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, stock rotation, and loss prevention measures to ensure product availability and minimise wastage.
- Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers regarding product sourcing, pricing, delivery schedules, and stock requirements.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage retail staff to maintain high standards of productivity and customer service.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters, allocate duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
- Establish and maintain customer service standards, resolving customer complaints and enquiries where necessary.
- Monitor store budgets, expenses, and operational costs to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, food safety (if applicable), and workplace regulatory requirements.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, stock security, and store opening and closing operations.
- Manage store presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising standards to maintain a positive shopping environment.
- Undertake any other management responsibilities reasonably required to support the successful operation of the business.

Qualification and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Applicants must hold at least a Diploma qualification in Business or a related field, or have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant retail management work experience.
