Transport Service Manager

We are seeking a reliable and organised Transport Service Manager to join our team in Auckland. This role is ideal for someone with strong logistical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage transport operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel
• Liaising with clients to determine requirements and providing advice on vehicle types, hire rates, and obligations
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner
• Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules
• Ensuring goods are stored and transported under conditions that maintain quality
• Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods
• Maintaining accurate business records and preparing operational reports
• Coordinating activities related to the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading of transport (including rail operations where applicable)
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations

About You

• Relevant Level 5 qualification OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of transport logistics and safety regulations is highly desirable
