This is a 0.8FTE position, 4 days per week.

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse and a Social Worker

  • Provide brief psychological interventions to our customers and practice evidence-based group programmes to them
  • Provide consultation, education, and advice to our care team by identifying the unmet needs of our customers and their whanau
  • Support local population health and work with our clinicians to develop intervention pathways based on practice needs.

Our ideal HIP will:

  • Be registered health professional under either the HPCA Act or Social worker Act with an interest in Mental Health (e.g. Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Addiction Counsellor)
  • Be an experienced clinician that works well in a multidisciplinary team of GPs, nurses and other health professionals
  • Enjoy continuous development & contribute to our ongoing improvement initiatives.
