About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated International Director to lead and grow our international programme. This is a senior position responsible for the strategic direction, compliance, and operational management of all aspects of the school’s international student programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the international programme

• Ensure compliance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021

• Manage recruitment, enrolment, and retention of international students

• Develop and maintain relationships with international agents, partner schools, and stakeholders

• Oversee student welfare, homestay arrangements, and pastoral care systems

• Manage budgets, reporting, and programme performance

• Lead and support the international team

• Promote the school internationally, including travel (as required)

About You

• Proven leadership experience in international education (school sector preferred)

• Strong understanding of New Zealand education systems and compliance requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-cultural skills

• Experience in international marketing and student recruitment

• Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and global partners

• Strong organisational and financial management skills

• A commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care excellence
