We’re looking for a confident relationship‑builder to take the lead on negotiating and managing data supply arrangements across government and the wider data ecosystem. As a Broker, you'll work to establish sustainable ingestion of admin data that is ethical, secure, and efficient.
Your work will enable and support Stats NZ to deliver on its Strategic Intents by negotiating Stats NZ's ingestion of admin data across NZ's data ecosystem.
You’ll build trusted relationships, lead negotiation of data supply agreements, and ensure compliance, while supporting providers to improve data quality and collection. You will lead data onboarding, manage ongoing data supply, apply privacy and ethics principles, and keep pace with legislative changes to support best practice.
Salary range $97,270 - $114,436 + Kiwisaver
