The Role

We are sourcing a Data Analyst for a 12-month contract engagement with one of ClearPoint's clients, based hybrid in Auckland Central. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited to someone who is hungry, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating with a degree of ambiguity in a fast-moving, small scale environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Acting as a product owner for the reporting layer, capturing requirements from stakeholders and managing expectations through to delivery
  • Translating platform data into functional, well-structured dashboards and reports
  • Participating in daily stand-ups and maintaining high visibility of in-flight work
  • Flagging blockers early and seeking guidance on requirement ambiguity
  • Supporting data governance activities, including assistance with data policy development and data deletion frameworks

The Experience We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a data analyst role, with strong skills in data querying, cleansing, and transformation
  • Power BI development experience is a must, including designing and delivering dashboards to a functional standard
  • Familiarity with the broader Microsoft BI stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or similar)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational data sources
  • Experience translating business requirements into reporting outputs and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, high-transparency environment with regular stakeholder interaction
  • Experience within consulting or professional services is advantageous
