Digital Marketing Specialist

Briscoe Group

Ready to bring digital campaigns to life for two of New Zealand’s most recognised retail brands? We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Ecommerce team and help deliver engaging, effective campaigns across Briscoes and Rebel Sport.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Channels, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to plan, coordinate and optimise activity across email, loyalty, paid social, search and other digital channels. This is a hands-on role where you’ll bring campaigns to life, support and guide a direct report, and use performance insights to grow digital traffic, connect with customers and support sales.

No two weeks are quite the same, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, manage and optimise digital marketing campaigns across email, loyalty, paid social, search and other digital channels.
  • Support campaign roadmap delivery across Briscoes and Rebel Sport.
  • Manage email activity, including batch sends and automated programmes through Emarsys.
  • Coordinate campaign assets, timings and digital media activity with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Digital Marketing Coordinator.
  • Monitor performance across email, traffic and paid digital channels, sharing insights and recommendations to improve results.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.

About You

You will ideally bring:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing, email marketing or a retail marketing role.
  • Experience planning weekly or monthly email programmes.
  • Experience with CRM or email platforms, ideally Emarsys.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working across multiple campaigns.
  • You’ll also be a strong team player, with great communication skills and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field would be advantageous.

Experience with paid social, search, SEO, reporting or agency coordination would also be a plus.

What We Offer

  • A fast-paced, varied digital marketing role with plenty of campaign activity.
  • Exposure to email, loyalty, paid media, SEO, reporting and Ecommerce.
  • A collaborative team environment working with internal teams and external agency partners.
  • The chance to use both creativity and data to shape digital customer experiences.

We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer, a Platinum Partner of First Foundation, and proud supporter and promoter of Cure Kids. If you’re ready to take the next step in your digital marketing career, we’d love to hear from you.
