Mō te tūnga | About the role

As the Enterprise Security Architect, you will report to the Director of Cybersecurity and play a key role in making sure our technology modernisation is secure and fit for the future. You will take the lead in shaping and aligning our approach to Information Security, Electronic Security, Identity & Access Management, and Privacy, helping to ensure everything we design, and deliver is built on strong foundations.

This is a hands-on strategic role where you will guide how security is applied across new systems and platforms. You will work closely with a range of teams to make sure security is considered early and stays front of mind as projects move forward.

You will also have the chance to influence the wider enterprise architecture space, contributing to a Community of Practice and helping build consistency in how we approach design and decision-making.

To succeed in this role, you must have the following skills, please highlight these in your cover letter and CV:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect, implementing strategies and architecture practices that guide and influence strategic initiatives.
  • Extensive enterprise-level expertise, with knowledge across security domains such as Information Security, Identity & Access Management, and Privacy.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities to advocate for organisational priorities, align conflicting opinions, and gain buy-in for solutions.
  • A broad understanding of technology products, services, and their role in enabling business outcomes.
  • Technical depth in security products and implementations, experience navigating with technical stakeholders and vendors.

Ngā painga | The benefits

The midpoint of the salary range is $170,814 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $145,192 - $204,977 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
