Are you an experienced Trade Sales Specialist ready to step up into an Account Manager role for career advancement, better earnings and the ability to earn performance-based incentives? This Internal Account Manager role is your opportunity to back yourself!
Based in-branch at CARTERS East Tamaki, you will take ownership of an assigned portfolio of accounts, driving sales through proactive internal sales activities while delivering excellent customer service and accurate order processing.
You will manage your call cycle via phone and email, focusing on your customer portfolio across the Auckland South region while acting as a key link between customers, Account Managers, Sales Manager and branch operations.
You will be self-motivated, results driven and highly organised. You will ensure orders are entering accurately, ensuring timely deliveries to keep your customer's projects running smoothly. You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will already be working for a building merchant in a trade sales support or similar role, has established relationships with builders and suppliers and be highly motivated and driven when it comes to customer service and sales. You will also possess the following qualities:
- Solid planning and organisational skills
- A proven sales and relationship management track record
- An eye for emerging markets
- Highly self-motivated with exceptional work ethic
- Solutions-focused
- Building or trade industry knowledge is advantageous
- Strong communication skills - Mandarin is a benefit but not essential.
