Pricing & Estimating Team Leader

The Pricing & Estimating Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the preparation of estimates for our trade customers. Reporting to the Pricing and Estimating Manager, you will lead a team of pricing estimators to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive and completed on time.

Based at CARTERS National Support Office in East Tamaki, you will work with internal and external stakeholders reviewing quotes, overseeing contract price loading, reporting on variations and implementing margin adjustments while training and supporting your team ensuring processes are understood and communicated.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high level attention to detail and accuracy to review quotes and ensure margin achievement and accuracy
• Leadership and team management experience with strong communication and time management skills to ensure processes are adhered to by your team
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications with excellent organisational, problem solving and decision-making capabilities to identify, investigate and advise on quoting, pricing and contract process improvements
• Train and develop your team, overseeing effective induction and support through mentoring to increase team competence
