Health Policy & Management — AI Content Specialist
About The Role
Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in a clinic or government office. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build models that millions of people will rely on for health information and policy guidance.
We're looking for MPH-trained professionals to help ensure those models get it right. You'll challenge AI on its understanding of epidemiology, biostatistics, health equity, and policy — catching errors, filling gaps, and setting a higher standard for health communication in AI.
This is meaningful, flexible, remote work that lets you apply your graduate training in a new and high-impact domain.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Fully Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Complex Scenarios — Create advanced public health problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, clinical trial interpretation, and policy analysis challenges
- Author Expert-Level Solutions — Write rigorous, evidence-based responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and others)
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards
- Sharpen AI Reasoning — Provide structured feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably
Who You Are
- Holder of a Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree
- Strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
- Skilled at translating complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written communication
- Detail-oriented when reviewing statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
- No prior AI experience required — your domain expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, quality review, or evaluation systems
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
- Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance
