We are looking for a seasoned and highly capable Technical Systems Analyst to join our Technology team on a contract basis. In this role, you will work across complex programmes, supporting the successful delivery of technology solutions by driving operational readiness, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring smooth transition into live environments.
You will partner closely with product, technology, and frontline teams to translate business needs into clear, delivery ready outcomes. This role requires a strong Technical BA mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and contribute to both strategic outcomes and day to day delivery.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping delivery practices, supporting transformation, and ensuring systems and services are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose.
We have multiple 12 month contract roles across key programmes, collaborating with product, technology, and frontline teams to drive impactful change and customer value.
Ko tō mahi | What you’ll do
As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will operate across delivery, analysis, and operational readiness activities, including:
- Leading and supporting requirements gathering, ensuring traceability from business needs through to delivery outcomes.
- Facilitating workshops to elicit requirements, analyse problems, and explore solution options.
- Translating business and product requirements into clear, structured artefacts for technology teams.
- Mapping current and future state processes to support transformation and operational improvement.
- Developing operating and support models, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinating and facilitating engagement across technology teams, platforms, and service owners.
- Supporting the creation of artefacts required for service transition and technical readiness for go live.
- Assisting with change and release management to support delivery outcomes.
- Managing environments scheduling to align with delivery timelines.
- Supporting lifecycle management planning across systems and services.
- Contributing to risk management, issue resolution, and delivery governance.
- Maintaining strong delivery discipline through Jira hygiene and supporting overall delivery management.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is
- A seasoned Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in complex, enterprise environments.
- Highly experienced in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- You will ideally also bring experience from highly regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Utilities including energy and water, and Telecommunications.
- Confident operating across both delivery and operational readiness, with strong end to end lifecycle experience.
- Skilled at facilitating workshops and influencing stakeholders across business and technology.
- Strong in documentation, governance artefacts, and delivery discipline.
- Comfortable working within structured change and release environments.
- Experienced in Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, with the ability to adapt across delivery methodologies.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and practical way to non technical stakeholders.
