Summer Orchard Worker

Summary-

We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and physically fit individuals to join our orchard team in Gisborne for the busy summer season. Experience is not required, as full on-the-job training will be provided! You will be working outdoors to maximize fruit quality and vine health.

Daily Tasks-

Summer Pruning & Tipping: Pruning vine tips and excess growth to maintain the canopy.

Bud & Fruit Thinning: Removing excess buds and fruit to enhance size and sweetness.

Vine Training: Guiding and tying canes onto support structures.

Pay & Hours-

Hourly Rate: $23.95 – $26.00 per hour (depending on experience and inclusive of 8% holiday pay).

Hours: 35 to 50+ hours per week, 5 to 7 days a week (weather dependent).

Preference will be given to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
