Cafe Manager

We are looking for a Cafe Manager in a full time permanent role for our recently opened cafe in Wellington. The role is for min 30 hours per week to max 45 hours per week. Weekends are busy days for us. The pay range is min $35 per hour to $36 per hour

Position description

Planning menus in consultation with management, we are introducing a variety of changes in our menu and expect you to have regular consultations with the staff along with some research on the offerings.

Greet customers and take feedback reguarly to assess the service level Organise and plan party order, birthday and group bookings

Manage the purchasing and pricing of items as per budget Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactionsEnsuring cafe complies with health regulations and is clean and functional at all times

Selecting, training and supervising staff and assist in taking orders

Requirements

Must have three years of relevant work experience in a cafe/restaurant environment or customer service roles or a Level 5 Diploma in Hospitality or Management

Must be a NZ citizen/resident or someone with valid work rights
