Microvellum Programmer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly detail-oriented Microvellum Programmer to join our bespoke kitchen and joinery team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment and has a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, production processes, and technical detailing.

Working closely alongside our Project Managers, you will be responsible for transforming approved concepts, drawings, and project information into accurate production-ready Microvellum programs and manufacturing documentation.

Our Project Managers will oversee and run projects directly with clients and suppliers, while you will focus on the technical detailing, programming, optimisation, and production support required to deliver high-quality bespoke joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce accurate Microvellum programs for bespoke kitchen and joinery projects

· Create detailed manufacturing drawings, cutting lists, CNC data, and production documentation

· Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure projects are detailed correctly and efficiently for manufacture

· Interpret architectural drawings, design concepts, and client requirements

· Ensure all joinery details are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with company standards

· Maintain consistency and accuracy across all project documentation

· Assist with workflow improvements, library management, and programming efficiencies within Microvellum

· Liaise with the manufacturing team to resolve technical queries and support production outcomes

· Review projects for material usage, hardware requirements, and machining accuracy

· Support continuous improvement initiatives across programming and manufacturing systems

· Assist with ordering of materials/Hardware and associated products

Skills & Experience Required

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience programming in Microvellum within bespoke kitchen and joinery manufacturing

· Strong understanding of custom cabinetry construction methods and manufacturing processes

· Proven experience in high-end residential kitchen and bespoke joinery projects

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings accurately

· High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment

· Experience producing CNC-ready manufacturing outputs

· Sound understanding of materials, hardware, and joinery production methods

· Knowledge of CNC machinery and machining processes

· Experience improving or maintaining Microvellum libraries and standards

· Understanding of production scheduling and manufacturing workflows
