We are looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Contract Coordinator to support the delivery of a key maintenance contract. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth coordination, administration, and financial performance of the contract while working closely with operational teams and clients.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As a Contract Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive business support across the contract, including contract claims, financial administration, reporting, and data management. You'll ensure that contract documentation, claims, and financial processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
Contract Coordination & Administration
- Manage and maintain contract documentation and ensure compliance with governance requirements
- Provide day-to-day coordination support to the contract team
- Support onboarding, training, and general team administration
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and resources
Contract Claims & Commercial Support
- Administer contract claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain job and project management systems
- Support cost/value reconciliation and financial reviews
- Ensure claims are optimised to maximise commercial outcomes
Financial Administration
- Manage purchasing, goods receipting, and cost verification
- Support month-end processes including accruals and allocations
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis to identify opportunities to improve margins
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure accuracy across the contract
Data Management & Reporting
- Manage data flow and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Maintain project systems, databases, and performance tracking
- Support responses to client requests and ensure contract compliance
Subcontractor & Supplier Support
- Assist with subcontractor onboarding, approvals, and compliance
- Monitor subcontractor claims and ensure adherence to contract requirements
- Support health & safety compliance across suppliers

We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working across multiple systems and stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Experience in contract administration, finance, or project coordination
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, reporting tools, data systems)
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A high level of initiative with the ability to work independently
Bonus if you have
- Experience working with contract claims or infrastructure/maintenance environments
- Familiarity with asset or contract management systems
