General Salary Range H: $60,750 to $70,402 depending on skills and experience
About the Role - Kōrero mō te Tūranga
Join Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forest Service as a Content Coordinator supporting the delivery of clear, accessible digital content. You'll help improve how users find and understand forestry information by transforming content into engaging web experiences.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Convert print/PDF content into web-friendly formats
- Publish and maintain website content in CMS
- Test and validate content for usability and accuracy
- Work with stakeholders to progress content approvals
- Support the content and service design team
About You - Mōu
You're an early-career content or communications professional who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn. Our ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience creating or editing content (through study or work)
- Strong written communication and proofreading skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools
- An interest in content design, digital services, or user experience
Desirable:
- Experience writing for the web or using a content management system (CMS)
- Understanding of accessibility or plain language principles
- Basic graphic design or visual communication skills

About the Team -
Mō tō mātou Rōpū
You'll be part of a collaborative Content and Service Design team within Strategy, Enablement & Māori Partnerships. The team works closely with stakeholders across Te Uru Rākau to improve digital services and deliver high-quality, user-centred content.
The team values collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement, and supports new starters to build capability quickly through hands-on experience and mentoring.
