About the role | Ko te mahi nei

Our Inspections Support team plays a key role in supporting the building inspection function. We’re looking for an outstanding administrator who can coordinate efficient, timely scheduling for customers and inspectors, whilst also providing high‑quality administrative support across inspection and construction documentation.

In this role, you’ll communicate with customers by phone, email, and letter, manage data entry and file updates, and respond flexibly to any ad‑hoc service needs that arise.

Your success in this role will come from your strong customer service skills, sharp attention to detail and ability to think ahead. You’ll be confident solving problems, using your initiative, and sharing information that helps your team deliver great outcomes.

You’ll bring:

  • At least 3 years in an office administration or call centre role.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Working with databases, with formal training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with building services would be an advantage but is not a requirement

  • Hours of work - Permanent Fulltime Position
  • Location - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street. Christchurch
  • Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $67,635 to $75,150 per annum based on a 40 hour week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
  • Closing Date - 12th June 2026
