About The Role

This frontline Customer Service role represents the face of the business, greeting customers as they arrive and ensuring their needs are understood and supported from the outset. Acting as the key link between the company and its customers, you'll deliver a professional, seamless experience that reflects our commitment to service and satisfaction.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring on‑time, accurate order processing, prompt quotes, and professional support across phone, counter and email channels.
  • Build strong relationships with key client personnel while providing informed sales and technical advice supported by solid product knowledge.
  • Manage open orders, pending deliveries, and daily dispatch coordination with both Potters vehicles and external freight providers, keeping customers updated proactively.
  • Investigate customer quality or service issues promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Support powder‑coating workflow coordination as required, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Contribute to store operations including stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and reporting hazards.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams by sharing relevant client/industry insights and answering inbound calls to support broader team workload.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a customer‑focused or technical sales environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent active listening capability.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Solid understanding of commercial markets and industry trends, with product knowledge considered an advantage.
  • SAP experience desirable, along with confidence in learning new systems quickly.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety requirements and commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver clear, accurate information and support customer needs professionally.
