- $27.39 - $28.51 per hour (depending on relevant experience)

IDEA Services supports people with intellectual disabilities to live great lives as valued members of their communities. Behind every successful support experience is a well-coordinated team — and that’s where you come in.
As a Schedule Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our support services run smoothly. You’ll create and manage advanced rosters, respond to short-notice sick leave, and work closely with Support Workers to ensure shifts are covered with minimal disruption. Your work will directly support continuity of care and positive outcomes for the people we support.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll be in regular contact with our Support Workers, using strong communication and problem-solving skills to navigate last-minute changes and find solutions quickly and calmly.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
- Previous scheduling or rostering experience (preferred)
- Experience working in the Health and Disability sector (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus and a people-first approach
- The ability to build positive, professional relationships
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Confidence using computer systems, including the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
