The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team on a part-time fixed term basis until 26 March 2027 (20 hours per week).

The Event Coordinator is required to support the Events department in delivery of our upcoming summer events programme, including support for the New Years Eve event. The Event Coordinator acts as a Council liaison for event organisers. In addition to supporting events, the Event Coordinator will support the Team Leader with administration responsibilities as required.

A bout You

We’re looking for someone who;

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment,
  • Brings confidence, clear communication skills, and a proactive mindset,
  • Has at least four years of experience in events or tourism,
  • Has a strong eye for detail, and a knack for planning and coordination.

  • Salary Range: $70,452 - $82,885 gross per annum (pro rata)
