What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Solar Partner & Customer Manager for a 12-month fixed-term to help make solar simple, seamless, and rewarding for Genesis customers and our solar installer partners.

You’ll be the day-to-day relationship lead for our solar partners, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and set up for success with Genesis processes and systems. You’ll also work closely with internal teams to resolve customer escalations, identify friction points, and improve the overall solar journey.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with solar installer partners nationwide.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for partners, providing proactive communication, support, and guidance.
  • Advocate for the end-customer experience across all solar partnerships.
  • Ensure partner processes align with Genesis customer standards and service expectations.
  • Work closely with Customer Operations to resolve escalations quickly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular partner performance reviews, identifying growth opportunities and addressing issues early.
  • Support the onboarding of new partners, ensuring they understand Genesis processes, systems, and expectations.
  • Identify customer journey pain points and proactively drive improvements that make solar easier for customers and partners.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be a natural relationship builder who knows how to create trust, bring people on the journey, and keep things moving. You’ll be customer-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable working across multiple teams and external partners.

  • 3+ years’ experience in account management, customer relationship management, or B2B partnership roles.
  • Proven ability to build long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset, with a track record of delivering great service outcomes.
  • Experience working with billing, CRM, or customer data systems.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A structured and organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A growth mindset and willingness to adapt, learn, and improve.
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Sales/Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Exposure to renewable energy or the solar sector would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.
