Solution Architect - Data Solutions - Permanent Opportunity - Wellington

A NZ leader in Data solutions has a unique role for a Solution Architect to be based in Wellington. You will have the opportunity to work with different clients bridging business strategy and technical delivery, translate complex requirements into well architected solutions spanning Azure, AWS, Snowflake Kubernetes and on-prem infrastructure.

You will be designing and overseeing end-to-end solutions that enable scalable, secure and business aligned data, analytics and AI capabilities across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Requirements

• Ideally 8+ years experience designing end-to-end solutions across cloud, data, and platform environments
• Strong experience across Azure and AWS, including compute, networking, storage and security
• Proven expertise in designing data platforms and AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) and container-based architectures
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Azure Bicep preferred)
• Experience embedding DevSecOps, DataOps, and automation practices
• Deep understanding of security, IAM, and data governance frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes or Snowflake
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g. government, banking, healthcare)
• Familiarity with AIOps, service mesh, and modern cloud-native tooling
• Must have NZ working rights
