Clinical Operations Manager

We are seeking the full-time services of a dynamic and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead a team of Health professionals. The position is based in Mt Eden, Auckland and involves providing operations and clinical leadership to our Mt Eden, Waitākere, Manukau Bridge programmes as well as our respite service based in Manurewa. The service is regional and has multiple contracts for delivery.

Our Ideal Candidate Must Have

  • Degree and Full Registration in Addictions or related field i.e. Nursing, Social Work, Counselling or Psychology for at least 10 years
  • Proven experience in leadership of Residential and Community alcohol and other drug addiction services for at least 3 years.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven Human Resources background
  • Effective communication skills, able to deliver professional presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Able to work within the principles of the Te Tiritii o Waitangi and have the ability and confidence to build and strengthen partnerships with Mana Whenua and community networks.
  • The ability to work as a team member while evidencing effective self-management and organisation.
  • Be contract literate, able to deliver measurable outcomes within time frames.
  • Contribute innovative solutions that support retention and expansion of contracts and funding.
  • Strong administrative skills including significant computer skills and report writing
  • Experience in facilitating groups and in case management in the Alcohol and Drug field.
  • Empathy with the values and mission of The Salvation Army

This role is permanent and hours worked will be 40 per week 08:00 – 16:30 with an on-call component as rostered.

The starting salary for this role is based on management experience within the Social Worker Pay Equity framework and will likely fall between $113,000 and $122,000.
