Our passionate and collaborative Iwi and M ori Relations tima is looking for a Kaih pai | Administrator to join them. This role reports to the Kaitaki, Hikina | General Manager, Iwi and M ori Relations and is a full time, permanent opportunity.
The Iwi and M ori Relations Directorate supports the strategic direction of the M oriCrown relationship, providing advice and guidance across Te Puni Kokiri and the wider public sector.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to provide quality support to the General Manager and wider team. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective coordination, and strong communication across the team.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing calendars, schedules, and team commitments
- Monitoring and responding to shared inbox enquiries professionally and promptly
- Coordinating hui (meetings), including end-to-end logistics
- Organising travel bookings and itineraries
- Supporting the planning and delivery of IwiCrown Accord engagements
- Liaising with the Office of the Deputy Secretary to maintain alignment and information flow
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and document management
- Tracking workflows, actions, and deliverables to support timely outcomes
- Supporting engagement with iwi, hapu, and stakeholders through well-organised communications
The likely appointment range is $60,971 - $67,068 based on skills and experience.

Mou | About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in administration or coordination
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools
- Initiative, good judgement, and attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skills
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Public service experience would be beneficial but not essential.
