Te Puni Kokiri is looking for an exceptional Kai rahi, Te Raukaha Hunga Mahi | Manager, Workforce Capability. This role reports to the General Manager, People, Capability and Culture and is a full time, permanent opportunity.
The Workforce Capability team are responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of workforce capability for Te Puni Kokiri now and into the future.

In this role, you will lead a portfolio of leadership, development and learning initiatives, with accountability for delivery and resources. You will provide strategic leadership to design and implement workforce strategies that drive a high-performance culture and deliver a targeted organisational development programme.
You will also lead enterprise-wide learning, talent management and development and have an opportunity to position Te Puni Kokiri for strategic influence.
There is a strong set-up component to this role, so you will have the opportunity to embed effective programmes that impact the entire workforce. A deep understanding of talent management (9-box grid), talent pipelining (progression frameworks) and e-learning strategies is key to the success of this role.
The likely appointment range is $133,248 - $166,560 based on skills and experience. The full grade for this role is $133,248 - $199,872 with a mid-point of $166,560.

Mou | About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 5-10 years work experience, ideally across a wide range of organisations, including the public sector
- Ability to influence and effectively engage with stakeholders across a wide range of professional disciplines to achieve desired business outcomes
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate clearly at a senior level
- Solid programme management experience
- Proven senior leadership experience with the ability to develop individuals to achieve their full potential and create a high-performance culture
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to its application to People, Capability and Culture
