About the role

Are you a Registered Nurse looking to join a fabulous and energetic team working in a stunning retirement village?

We are seeking 3 passionate RNs to provide first class care services to our residents at The Village Palms in Christchurch. 3 of our awesome staff members will be away on parental leave and we are looking for amazing RNs to replace them for a fixed term.

• Role 1 - 40 hours a week - PM shifts from Sunday to Thursday - from 17th August to 17th March 2027
• Role 2 - 32 hours a week - PM shifts from Monday to Thursday - from 1st September to 23rd March 2027
• Role 3 - 40 hours a week - AM shifts from Sunday to Thursday - 20th September to 15th April 2027

We offer top hourly rates and allowances as well as an amazing team to work in!

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
• Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

• Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
