CNC Laser / Plasma Machine Operator

PERSOL is seeking experienced

CNC Laser / Plasma Machine Operators for opportunities within steel, metal processing, and industrial manufacturing environments.

This role would suit someone with hands-on experience operating

CNC laser, plasma, or profile cutting machinery, ideally with exposure to steel plate processing, gantry cranes, forklifts, and quality checking.

About The Role

You may be involved in:

• Operating CNC laser and/or plasma cutting machines
• Loading, unloading, and processing steel or metal products
• Using overhead gantry cranes and forklifts
• Monitoring machine performance and cut quality
• Reading job sheets, measurements, or production specs
• Labelling, sorting, and preparing finished parts
• Supporting basic machine maintenance and clean-downs
• Working safely in a busy industrial environment

What We're Looking For

• CNC laser, plasma, profile cutting, or metal processing experience
• Steel, fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing background
• Gantry crane and/or forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work unsupervised
• Physically fit and comfortable handling industrial materials
