Te Omanga Hospice is a charitable trust that provides specialist palliative care to patients and their whānau in the Hutt Valley living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Events & Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery of fundraising events and community initiatives that help fund free hospice care across the Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
About the Role
This hands-on role supports event planning, logistics, and delivery. You will be working closely with colleagues, volunteers, suppliers, and supporters to create and deliver engaging, well-run events.
- Assist with planning and delivering fundraising events
- Coordinate logistics (venues, suppliers, materials)
- Manage event communications and registrations
- Coordination and management of event volunteers
- Event administration
- Support for the wider Fundraising & Events Team, when required

- Confidence using Microsoft Office, and digital systems
- Flexibility to work extra hours, weekends or late nights when required, during event delivery
- A current clean and full N.Z driver's licence
- A genuine passion for community engagement and making a positive difference
