About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
Your role as a Nursing Administrator is crucial in delivering integrated and client-centered referral management and coordination services across all our Nursing contracts. You play a vital part in facilitating the seamless flow of referrals into our organisation, ensuring that the processes of receiving, triaging, workload allocation and administrative functions are standardized throughout the business.
This is a full time permanent position working across a 2 week roster in our Burnside office in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Week 1
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 830am to 5pm
Wednesday: 7am to 330pm
Saturday & Sunday: 730am to 4pm
Week 2
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 830am to 5pm
Wednesday: 7am to 330pm
Sample of respnsibiltites:
- Be the first point of contact, welcoming clients and coordinating high-quality services to meet their needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely referral processing to the relevant branch/clinician.
- Manage all Nursing referrals, including entering data, loading services and setting budgets and schedules.
- Ensure new Nursing clients are set up accurately and experience a seamless onboarding process.
- Provide relevant reports and other documentation to management as required

- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, along with advanced data entry skills.
- Previous administration support, particularly in the use of client management and/or other data and record based electronic systems.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills and capability.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and level-headed under pressure with a mature attitude to the workplace.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills and clear, responsive, and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to manage own time effectively and work with minimum supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using various client management systems.
