The Role
This is a broad Senior Corporate Accountant position offering a mix of financial and management accounting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in group reporting, working closely with senior finance leaders to deliver high-quality financial information across a complex portfolio. The role offers strong exposure to consolidation, statutory reporting, and technical accounting, alongside opportunities to get involved in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading monthly group consolidation, including reviewing journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs
- Preparing and delivering Board-level reporting and performance insights
- Supporting the preparation of half-year and annual statutory financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and evolving regulatory requirements
- Preparing audit deliverables and liaising with external auditors
- Contributing to budgeting processes and financial planning activities
- Supporting tax compliance across GST, WHT and associated obligations
- Partnering with senior finance stakeholders on technical and reporting matters
- Mentoring junior team members and acting as a key point of contact within the finance team
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to systems upgrades, process improvements, and acquisition-related integration work as part of a broader finance transformation journey.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- CA qualification with several years of post-qualification experience
- Strong grounding in financial reporting, consolidation, and IFRS
- Experience in a complex corporate or listed environment, or from a leading professional services firm
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to support and develop others
