An exciting new opportunity has become available in our senior management team for a motivated Regional Manager. The Regional Manager role will assist the Spectrum Group in the pursuit of our shared

Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role
The regional manager is responsible for managing existing services while also planning and implementing future development. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, they will be accountable for the overall quality of service within the designated area including the development and wellbeing of people supported by Spectrum Care, staff management, and financial performance against budget and targets. As a member of the services senior management team (SSMT) they will also be expected to contribute to the leadership and strategic direction of the organisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure that services and solutions are co-designed with the people we support and their whanau/families.
- Actively contribute to the achievement of Spectrum Care's strategic intent, including relevant strategic priorities as well as delegated tasks and projects.
- Services fully comply with sector standards and Spectrum Care standards and policies
- The Regional Manager has a responsibility to ensure their region is compliant with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) and relevant health and safety regulations
- Ensure the region complies with the effective systems in place to approve, monitor and account for expenditure including compliance with Spectrum Care standards.
- H&S Leadership: promote a strong safety and wellbeing
- Ensure staff are supported, trained, coached, empowered, and developed to make good decisions, excel in their roles and align their efforts with the organisation's Mission, Values and strategy.
- Promote a high standard of cooperation, collaboration and ethical behaviour with internal and external partners and stakeholders.

- Bachelors-level tertiary qualification in a relevant area such as business management, health, disability, psychology, or social work.
- Ability to travel between locations
- Appropriate clearance from the New Zealand Police and Oranga Tamariki
- Well- developed and successful previous experience 5+ years or more in a leadership or line management role.
- Previous employment in the health and disability or community / social services sectors is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in supporting people and their supports with an intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and/or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
- Project management skills preferred
