Store Manager and Store Assistant

We are looking for an individual to be a full-time store manager to Manage our busy liquor store located in Otahuhu, Auckland. The applicant must have a full Duty Manager Certificate.
We are also looking to fill in position of a store assistant.
Store Manager
Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of retail experience
Must have done Serve-Wise, LCQ and have valid Duty Manager certificate.
Flexible in working long hours when required which may include on call starts, early morning starts, and late finishes, working on weekends and public holidays.
Job duties include
- Ordering stock, stock taking, inventory control management, vendor dealing and supplier selection
- Manage marketing, promotions and pricing
- Staff management
- Ensuring that the store is presengtable at all times
- Cash handling and float management
- Dollowing health and safety and sale and supply of luquor regulations.
- Provide training, guidance and continuous product specification to respective staff
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement stock plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency
- Manage costs and maintain profitability
Pay rate: $24 - $26 per hour
Store assistant
Requirements
Similar experience will be preferred.

Job Duties
- Oversee daily retail operations within the liquor store, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of customer service.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select suitable wine, beer, and spirits based on their preferences and needs.
- Check customer identification rigorously to comply with legal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Safely operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain strict adherence to all legal regulations and store policies, ensuring compliance at all times.
Pay rate: $24 - $26 per hour
Hoursfor both positions: Minimum 30 - Maximum 50 Hours Per week.
