About Our Role

• Christchurch, the Garden City, blends heritage, nature, and innovation
• Permanent full-time (32 or more hours per week)
• AM shifts

Our Gardener is responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor areas, including mowing, edging, weed control and general garden care to an exceptional standard. We only want the best for our clients, which is why we are seeking a reliable, friendly and professional team member who takes pride in their work. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment where teamwork, positive work ethic and attention to detail are highly valued.

Skills & Experience

• Previous gardening, landscaping or lawn mowing experience preferred
• Knowledge of lawn care, weed control, pruning and general garden maintenance
• Horticultural certification/experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work
• Strong attention to detail with pride in maintaining high presentation standards
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual with a positive attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
• Experience operating gardening equipment and tools safely
• Full clean driver’s licence required
