They operate heavily in the early stages of projects, providing design management, preconstruction input and strategic advice through to delivery. Their approach is hands-on, with a flat structure and senior people actively involved across projects.

Well respected in the market for adding value early, particularly around buildability, planning and risk reduction, and consistently involved in high-profile Auckland developments.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team and get exposure across both design management and project delivery.

You’ll be working closely with senior staff and getting involved from early project stages including feasibility, consultant coordination and design development, through to construction phase support. It’s a good role for someone wanting to build a proper consultancy skillset, particularly on the front end of projects.

Key responsibilities include

  • Supporting project delivery across design and early construction phases
  • Assisting with consultant coordination and design management
  • Supporting documentation, reporting and meeting coordination
  • Exposure to procurement strategy and contract administration
  • Contributing to planning, programming and risk identification
  • Working across stakeholders including clients, consultants and contractors

What They’re Looking For

  • Degree qualified in construction, engineering, architecture or similar
  • At least 1–2 years minimum experience post qualification in a relevant field
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders
  • Organised and detail-focused
  • Genuine interest in consultancy and early-stage project delivery
