We’re looking for a Senior Application Specialist (Technical Business Analyst) to join our Account Domain.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in shaping and delivering the systems and services that underpin customer accounts, transactions, and core banking capabilities.
You’ll work closely with product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to analyse complex problems, define user stories, and enable squads to deliver high quality outcomes in a modern, agile environment.
Key role responsibilities:
- Lead analysis and design activities, facilitating workshops and conversations to define, estimate, and sequence delivery work.
- Work closely with stakeholders and Product Lead to gather, analyse, and validate business and technical requirements across the Account Domain.
- Translate requirements into story maps and clear, actionable user stories with well defined acceptance criteria.
- Develop functional and technical specifications, including process flows and integration points.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs, technical standards, and regulatory expectations.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to delivery squads during implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor within the domain, supporting continuous improvement in ways of working and solution quality.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst working within agile delivery squads.
- An agile mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and high‑quality delivery.
- Strong experience in banking or financial services, ideally across core systems or account‑based platforms.
- Proven ability to analyse and design story maps within large, complex technology environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence engaging technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with a focus on pragmatic, value‑driven outcomes.
- Experience working with modern cloud‑based platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems is advantageous.
