Te Whiwhinga mahi - The Opportunity – Principal Asset Information Integration Lead
The Principal Asset Information Integration Lead manages the development and continuous improvement of processes and standards for how Auckland Transport collects, manages, and uses asset data and asset information. This role ensures asset information is accurate, consistent, and aligned with industry best practices and AT’s digital transformation objectives.
This role is required to work with a large degree of independence across the organization, identifying and resolving problems by applying conventional or unconventional solutions. This will require the ability to research, analyse and investigate problems with minimal or incomplete information, and to deliver a successful outcome.
Working across teams and systems, the Principal Asset Information Integration Lead embeds the relevant industry standards into projects and operations, enabling better decision-making and innovation in asset data management.
Key Tasks will include
- Close engagement with stakeholders across AT, council organisations, and vendors to embed consistent asset information standards into projects and operations.
- Defining and updating protocols aligned with ISO standards (e.g. 55000, 19650) and IIMM, ensuring data consistency across the asset lifecycle.
- Supporting asset acceptance and vesting processes, ensuring infrastructure projects meet AT’s data and documentation requirements.
- Leading improvement initiatives by researching, analysing, investigating; have the ability of making decision with incomplete data sets, driving upgrades to asset data quality, systems integration, and compliance with AT’s asset maturity goals.
- Providing expert advice to project teams and business units on applying asset information protocols in planning, delivery, and operations.
- Mentoring colleagues, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in asset information management.
Ko koe tēnei | About you
- Bachelor’s degree in business, systems, engineering, science, operational research, commerce or other relevant qualifications.
- 12 years’ post graduate experience in asset management or infrastructure operations business
- Highly specialised experience infrastructure asset systems and Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Proven experience in leading large-scale data and information management projects
- Strong understanding of regulatory and reporting requirements and key performance indicators.
