Senior Organisational Development Advisor

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Organisational Development Advisor to join our Christchurch-based People & Culture team.

In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the business to design, deliver and embed practical learning, capability and organisational development initiatives that strengthen leadership, team performance, and employee experience, while using workforce insights to support business improvement, growth and a broader digital transformation programme. This is a hands-on senior practitioner role, so you'll move between advisory, design, facilitation and practical delivery activity to make sure initiatives land well.

You'll be involved in:

• Designing and delivering leadership and capability development initiatives
• Partnering with leaders to identify learning, capability and organisational needs
• Facilitating workshops, coaching, and team development sessions
• Using workforce and engagement data to guide initiatives and measure impact
• Supporting organisational effectiveness, wellbeing, engagement, and culture through OD initiatives
• Coordinating delivery activity where needed, including planning, communications, logistics and follow-up

About you

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Experience in organisational development, learning, leadership, or change roles
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to design, deliver and embed practical learning and OD initiatives
• Confidence using data, feedback and insights to inform recommendations and evaluate impact.
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building capability
• Ability to work across both strategic and operational priorities, with a practical hands-on approach
