People & Culture Advisor

Unique opportunity to be in a pivotal P&C Advisor role where you'll support senior leaders, deliver smart HR solutions, and champion our HRIS to keep people processes running smoothly.

The opportunity - Te tūranga

As P&C Advisor you will support the P&C GMs and Business Partners to provide strategic and tactical HR solutions and advice to the business. You will also be a superuser of TVNZ's HRIS to ensure all people processes are delivered.

P&C advice & processes

· Provide front line P&C advice on people policies and processes directly to leaders as needed.

· Support Business Partners and leaders to identify recruitment needs and support leaders to draft position descriptions and get roles ready to recruit.

· Support Business Partners with employee relations, change management and industrial relations as required.

Systems data & reporting

· Take a leadership role on the ongoing maximisation of the HRIS

· Support the Senior Health & Safety Consultant to enhance TVNZ's Health & Safety System

· Troubleshoot systems issues with HRIS and the Health & Safety System including resolving backend issue

To be successful we are looking for the following

· You'll be a process and systems whiz, preferably with experience in HRIS backend management.

· You'll be a P&C professional with experience advising leaders on P&C matters.

· You develop trusting relationships and quickly become a trusted advisor to support business partners and leaders.

· You'll have good understanding of P&C practices, the Employment Relations Act and other relevant legislation.

· You'll have experience in developing, improving and implementing processes.

· You'll be commercial and analytical and able to use and understand data to drive efficiencies in the way we work

· You'll be organised and able to deliver to deadlines

· You take initiative and get stuff done
